Look for "bimmer coder" in the vendor zone. I think he can do it for you.

You can do it yourself if you get the cable.

You can do a lot more than just recode the M performance.

There is a bro riding a beast of a 335i who did it himself

Nope to voiding warranty. However, if you send your car for update of software or ASS recoding.

All your previous settings such as the M Performance logo and etc will be wiped out of the system and you would have to repay to do it again.

A couple F30 bros have experience that already.

Did all the recoding, including the M Performance Logo.

Sent in car for recoding due to new Big Brake Kit.

Poof, all the mods you have done are wiped clean.

I was focusing more on the fact that everything needs to be redone.

On the process of getting it redone with Bimmer Coder or whoever else who does it, i guess that would be case by case basis. Good to know that the after sales of bimmer coder is that good though.
