Yes its on my car, the high speed fan will activate when the water temperature reaches 88 deg cc. Benefits, of course the water in the radiator is cooled sooner rather than it waits till 91deg C to activate, good for our super hot climate hehehe.

Somewhere in the forum, I read that runing your car below optimal temp will cause higher FC as ECU is not programmed to that temp.

Just sharing.. just incase the infor can be helpful

pussy, thanks. Have modded my existing fan switch to kick on the high speed fan when it hits 91 deg. so will see how that goes first. Definitely better than waiting until 99 deg. Too hot for our climate.
