Lower Plate for Shock Absorber

Hi, all,Recently I bought a set of B6 shock absorber from Singapore and the front absorbers do not come with the lower spring plate. Came back and tried to replace the 'original' absorbers and discovered that the lower plate currently attached to the original absorber could not fit the new B6.I was told by the sales person in Singapore that I could use the 'original' plate came with the standard absorber, therefroe, the B6 does not come with the plate.I am not the first owner to my current car, maybe the previous onwer changed the shock absorbers but the funny thing is that the shock absorber is also Bilstein black !! Howcome the plate could not fit the B6 ? :burnout: The worse thing is that no one sell the plate seperately and it comes with the shock standard absorber.Can anyone tell me where can I get a set of used front lower plate for E39 as I was told most of the chop shop sell the plate togather with the absorber but what is the point for me to buy it with the shock absorber ?Cheers.Hamilton
