Hello. I'm Korean and owning e46 328i yr2000..As i mentioned at the title, I can't find my registration document...at all....Bcoz i'm foreigner.. i'm not quite sure about the system of this matter.so.. in this case, can i just visit JPJ to reissue the document????please help me out, sifus.

Is the car register under your name bro? If yes than you have to take the car for inspection at JPJ and Pupakom. Once done they will give you a new copy of the registration. Before that go and do police report once you got copy go to and do the above.

Firstlly, if you car is still under finance, your registration ard might be with the Finance company.
If its really lost, you can get a 'salinan' (copy) card from JPJ. Not sure what docs they need tho...probably a police report.

Note: its always good to have a photocopy of your important documents stashed away for safekeeping....passport included.

Yes, this car is under my name..
So, to get a new document, I need to go through inspection again at JPJ and Puspakom.

Thank you for you kind and super-fast replies.

Once I receive new one, I'll keep photocopies in my house following your advise..
thx again :):)

my boss also had the same problem. she accidentally shreded the original. dun ask me how she did it. anyway, problem solved after getting copy of the registration from the bank, jpj and puspakom + police report.

if not mistaken, there are people (runners) who can handle this for you for a certain fee. check with your mechanic.
