Hi, good day all... I'm looking for complete M43TUB19 1.9 engine for my 318ci that experienced overheating last week and found out water already got into my engine. Checked done and found out my coolant lost (leak somewhere in my sys) caused overheating then I start to realize the sludge in my oil actually cause by one of my engine cylinder head bolt broken. Not really sure this thing can cause water sipping slowly into my engine but that what Albert told me:questionmark:. Looking at my engine oil, I can say its not one time overheating problem cause that sludge or milky mayonnaise oil all over my engine. I blame myself for never checking the oil cap cause my engine run smoothly without any problem since own it 2 years ago and i can say my mistake was follow bmw 15k miles service interval..:banghead:It is much appreciated for any 2nd opinion from more experience owner in this forum regarding my problem which is the better option for me. For now, I'm more towards get the used same engine for my lovely little coupe. I can't afford for bigger cc engine cause I only started my first job 5 months ago and forgot to mention, this car I brought from UK. Already call several chop shop around Subang area and Sg Buloh but if any member here have very good cond engine for sale, please let me know. So, please please please help me abg2 sekalian...

So, what your final decision bro? Already called around and got few places average 2.8k - 4k for my engine. But, still don't have time to check the engine condition. Maybe I will let my mechanic to find the engine for me. You looking for same or different engine?

Glad not celebrate raya next month. Will work more and replace everyone who want holiday for raya and get 3X pay. huhu poor me..

If you want a little bit more power why not go for M42B18 or M44B19 instead.

Is it straightforward swap into my car or I need a half cut? Been considering slight more power upgrade and this open my eyes! But, really appreciate it if bro Tamade7 can give more info because not many info I can find with mr. google.. Others opinion also much appreciated. Knowing my lovely coupe still heartless, its really broke my heart.. huhu

Made up my mind and stick to my current engine, ask the mechanic to source the new 2nd engine for me. Check the new heart for my coupe yesterday and this weekend he should be running around again.

Japanese heart in my lovely coupe... I would never do that...

Anyway, thanks a lot for the opinion abg2 sekalian.. much2 appreciated.

Yup..cant match the UDM feeling..good to stay with BMW heart..

bro..dun mind hijack abit...out of topic, any one have done any transplant from m43tub19 to m54b25??and the cost..

Eujinee, dun mind at all... I ask the mechanic to quote the price for me last time and believe me it cost a lot. The half cut itself cost around 15K - 20K+++. As for me, just started my 1st job last Feb, sure cannot afford that.
