Lifetime rechargeable battery in key remote

I understand the battery can not be replaced. How long will it last 5-10 years? What happen after that? replace a new key with remote? What is the cost? where can i buy one? Terima kasih.

Can order the key from AB, which will be ordered from Germany. Last I checked a new key cost RM700-800...

when the battery expires, you only cannot open the door from remote but I think you can still open your door manually and start your car.. The ignition key immobilizer work by proximity..
