Keyless entry and start doesn't work

Hey guys,

My keyless entry and start is not working. I have tried changing my battery in the key and also my spare key. Still the same problem,
Do you guys know what the issue might be and would it be an expensive fix?

Key still works to unlock/lock by pressing the buttons and to manually start the car.

Hi bro, i suppose you are referring to 325i and above right. Mine works but sometimes not so sensitive and need to stand nearer to the door. Maybe you can get your car check by the specialist.

Yea its for my 325i. The sensitivity issue is probably because of a weakening battery. Which i have had before. But now there is no response at all. Its going to AB tomorrow to get checked. Hopefully a minor issue. :s:

thanks for the info.. i think is time for me change my battery then. Hopefully is just some minor issue to your keyless entry system that will not cost you a bomb.

I wish my car got keyless entry. I got keyless start only. Lock and unlock door still got to press button. Find this inconvenient especially when your hands are occupied.

So my car went to AB Sungai Besi to get this checked. They said they've reset the comfort access system and it worked except for the left front door. and according to them if it still goes off after this, that particular door handle may need to be replaced. This morning it stopped working again.

Too used to the comfort access. Any idea where else i can get it checked?
