Are you having hot flushes or what ? Why get so bloody defensive ? You know the nature of these sorta gatherings and how we always have last minute additions to any gatherings. Why bitch about it when we can deal with it ? Is it that hard to call that woman at the Cafe and inform her of the additional heads ? If she wants more deposit, we'll pay first on behalf of the members and collect them later. Bottom line is, I don't want anyone to be left out just cos we cannot get the venue and seats sorted out.
And please, I've been there a few times during these few weeks and the crowd there is only so-so! Don't fall into her sales pitch so easily. Bottom line is - if she can't accomodate us .... someone else somewhere wud!!! And ... considering that we only posted this thing up on a weekend, how do you expect everyone to read and respond to the meet-up notice ? Everyone and anyone is welcome to join us as you said - as the senior members, it's our responsibility to ensure that we get them all settled in and comfy there later. What about the non forum members that were also wanted to join us when we discussed this on FRI ? Did we take them into account when we booked the numbers ?
Anyway, I'll be there till dinner before I head off for the birthday bash - it's my assistant's so I'll have to show up later.

Stop the bitchin' please brothers... Just make sure you are punctual and we can sort out the problems there and then. if the place is packed as so claimed, then we will deal with it. I mean, the whole arrangement is for JB members, forummers or not, to get together and have a great time before the Deeparaya festival.
We must have a spirit of cohesiveness and togetherness, and not fight among each other. We have always claimed that the Johor members are a friendly bunch, irrespective of their rides. Will you guys be happy if the situation here is as bad as "a certain place"? Politics, discrimination, etc. Where does it end?

P/S: I will be bringing the silver url stickers this evening. Also, I will be coming alone coz Margaret is down with cough and flu due to the @#$%^&* haze. If nobody is taking over her place, then I will pay for 2 pax.

ANNOUNCEMENT
The committee has decided that the BMW Club Official TT will be Monthly TT starting Nov 2006.
Official TT would be held on every 2nd Friday of the month. So the next Official TT would be on 10 Nov. Stay tuned for more info.
You can organise your own gatherings if there is no official TT for that particular week, but we do hope that when there is an Official TT on that week your group will organise yourselves to attend the Club TT.

Just read from another thread that the S'pore bmw club will be organizing a convoy to KL on 10th November 2006 (Fri). I suggested that we tag along and we can convoy together from JB to KL. What do you guys think?
