Speculation is that it is a grudge theft as the shutter was damaged and the cars taken out with the tops scraping on the metal shutters. Got this info a mechanic and also based on the pix in the chinese newspapers. Mechanics are nevertheless worried to keep to many BMWs in their workshops now.

From the picture in newspaper, i can see they robbed one e46 silver color with blacktop.
