I remembered being told that fully-syn oils can last for 15 - 20 thousand kilometres before requiring a change.....I must have been 17. And one day, I met a guy who worked as a mech on Honda's Racing Team and he said, "No way, young man. No engine oil is supposed to stay in your engine for more than 10,000 KM or 6 months, Tops!"

I asked, "What about the Fully Synthetic Mobil 1", hoping to get a different answer and preparing to . The guy shook his head and said, "You some deaf dipshit or what? I said NO engine oil....if you don't believe me, go and try. No difference to this Uncle whether your car is sludged up or well lubed, is there?"

Speaking of Mobil1, someone just gave me a 4l pack of Mobil1 SuperSyn Fully Synthetic 5W-50....Not good for Bimba? I should I pass it along to someone else?

i use castrol semi synthetic 15/40, so far the engine sounds good n performs excellently...mine is M52B25TU..no tapping sound..i always stick to castrol
