Have anyone installed or heard of a FSE Powerboost Valve. Here's the link http://www.madmotors.co.uk/engine-tuning/powerboost-valves/bmw-powerboost-valves/fse-powerboost-valve-bmw-318i-e46-99.htmlIt says that Power Boost Valves are pre-set with a maximum fuel pressure of 2.5, 3.0 or 3.5 bar, depending on the vehicle in question, and similarly (to the original valve) the fuel pressure is reduced by 0.5 bar approximately at idle. On acceleration from standstill the Power Boost Valve fuel pressure will increase at 1.7 times the standard rate. This will produce a healthy, strong fuel mixture strength which will instantly improve the drivability of your vehicle, providing:-Instant throttle response.Removal of performance flat spots.Faster acceleration.Extra engine performance

Power boost valve is a fast acting fuel pressure regulator - it might give quicker throttle response but not more power.

i was waiting for someone to start on this.finally it pop out.

well from my past experience i did fit fse in e46 318 valvetronic..i set it to 3.2 bar. if 3.5 bar like the factory setting.the consumption is bit high.but on 3.2 bar, fuel consumption is very good.

performance wise very instant respond on throttle..fast high rev..it rev till the end on all gears..so far i dont see any negative point after all this years.but after 6 years, my fse worn off.start making sound.so i just revert back to stock now.

i m planning to install it back soon.

any others have experience on fse?
