Ignition switch / key barrel problems...

Hello all,Im new to this site, and relatively new to Malaysia... hope you can help me pls (wasnt quite sure where to post this).I got home yesterday and couldnt turn off my car (e38 728), the key wouldnt turn back but would spin forwards and click every revolution. The key could also be removed...AAM finally managed to sort it by unplugging the ignition switch, but I think the key barrel assembly is shot and needs replacing - a trip to the garage tomorrow then!I believe that its a common problem though, has anyone else had this, and roughly whats it going to cost me?ThanksT
