Search the owner's manual but cannot find such information. Only Garmin can do it and not BMW's i drive??....Read other post whereby an indirect method is use Google Map on your smart phone, punch in the coordinates in the Search Function and transfer it to your BMW Assist folder via mail system (must have a bluetooth+data connection active).

You simply cant!

Havent tried the google, search, transfer, email, bluetooth, data thing though....

I use a Garmin. Saves all that hassle...

So sad. Thanks for the information. No wonder I give the raw coordinates to all i-drive UDM owners, all of them cannot key in and come to the right spot.

The thing is that you can't input in the coordinates, but it will tell you the coordinates of where you are...

I was looking for that feature as well. Oh well, at least you can tell your friends with garmins where to come to....

I guess most owners with i-drive navigation function should also purchase a Garmin....

I really wished that this functionality was included in the i-Drive :(

Was quite dissapointed to find out that it didn't. Looks like I still have to rely on my old Garmin.

I think if BMW car without BMW logo, people will ask "what car is it?, so expensive ang GPS is worst than garmin.
