The best method is still the good 'ol American method... that is the "look over your shoulder" method. When you all go take driving test in USA, make sure you all "look over your shoulder" whenever making a switch lane maneuver, or else they will fail u!

My tester almost fail me for using the handbrake when taking off on a red light stop that slope upwards, in a manual car. She say that's a parking brake and you should only use it when parking your car... duh! ... and she say that's her first time seeing someone bring a manual car for driving test.. I almost hear her asking me to teach her how to drive a stick shift.. :p

Bro the point of the article is to minimise the "look over your shoulder" method simply bcos when you do that you take your eyes off in front of the road in order to look whether there is a car at the rear side of your vehicle.

Almost forgot about this thread lol Been following what the article said and so far so good. It does eliminate blind spot the only drawback is when trying to reverse the car in a small tight lane for example but it's a small price to pay :4:

Rather difficult to change the mindset bro. Even my car, I don't dare extend side mirrors to the point where I cannot see the rear of the car from where I sit, both left and right...

Maybe not used to it.

Haha yes you're right bro it's hard to change but if you look at it if you need to see your rear side you just need to lean a bit to the side to see it and it doesn't take long to get used to it and appreciate the principle's behind it :4:
