Guys, Need some advice... How do you tell if the mechanic you go to is reliable and good?? sometimes after i sent my car to the workshop, the problem is still there.. does the car take time to 'adjust' to the changes ah??? Thank you for your advice!!! :(

make sure they dun break your things, didnt put back the screw and install everyting in order like original & keep your car as clean as possible (i know its difficult, but they can try) that, i consider a good mechanic

feel good, when they can detect it immediately.
feel good, when the charges is not that pricey.
feel good, when they are friendly and able to discuss professionally.
feel good, when they are honest, by telling, not all need to be replaced when service.
feel good, when they accept credit card without charging extra % comission.
by the way, no mechanics are born perfect, some do mistake too, even a well known top professional specialist in KL have diagnosed a wrong sickness on his patient, and that was my neighbour!

a bit subjective. but if you dunno much abt cars.... find one that will fix your problem and with a viable solution. the solution could be cheap (if you are kiamsap) or could be a lasting solution (may involve change of new parts). these should be discussed with you frankly. he will implement the solution professionally (which can be seen whilst he works). some dun even know which screw or bolt needs to be tighten first and in what sequence. some fumble even to know wot spanar size ler. i usually stay and watch him work for the first few times if i've never been to the shop before dat.

no. the car doesnt 'adjust' to the changes. if the problem is not fixed, bring it back at once. i've done that many times. its key to not leave collection of the car till late and then rush.
