How's the viewing?

The black e39 525i year 2002/2003 CKD model is certainly a well maintained car and physical condition is 8/10. Mileage about 120K km. Dealer asked for RM97k negotiable and think slightly on the high side.

Ah Keng, if you are serious in e39, go for at least 525i and even better willl be 530i. E39 520i tend to be under-powered.

If the car is serviced in Auto Bavaria, go and check the mileage at Auto Bavaria (I checked mine there, AB will also show you all the service history as well). 90% of E39 mileage has been tampered with. A 2002 should have clocked at least 180k km on average. Mine was tampered with and Used Car dealer was flabbergasted when I told Him i went to AB to check. He gave me a 5k discount.

Totally agree with you. I dont really trust dealers selling 8 year old cars with 40k mileage. Something fishy, or been driven by a really old man.

oh I see.... so next time would you also suggest that buyers ask car dealer the age of previous owners?? think about it maybe not neccesary....JPJ registration form also indicate NRIC of the owner, so age is revealed.

I will still look around. will go and see the 530 maybe later this week at old klang road. They 2nd hand dealer says rm97k for 2002 car. well i think the younger guys will not clock more mileage but will tend to push the car harder and faster and harder... ahhaha

Send my car to Albert for 2 days for 1st service - change engine oil, auto-oil, abs sensor, wiper motor, repair steering rack for oil leaks, change vanos seals, vanos chain and pipe (thanks to herbert for this good recommendation!) and power window cable. after all this, can feel the car lighter di. so is my wallet. haaha.
