high rpm

hi guys, just wondering what is the normal rpm speed when the car is travelling on certain speed? my ride is e36 318i, i noticed my rpm is high at 4000 when travelling at 150km/h....when travelling at 120 km/h, it is about 3200 rpmis this normal? need to make a comparison with other e36 318i. And is it possible that the gear doest not change to 4th gear? (i.e. stuck at 3rd gear throughout?) sounds silly but i hope someone can enlighten me thanks

manufactured in year 1997, the previous owner serviced the car at AB mostly, so i guess she hasnt flushed or changed the gearbox oil at all. any idea?

It is normal for the 4 speed Auto gearbox for M43 to run at

3000rpm at 110km/h
2400rpm at 80km/h
1600rpm for 60km/h
