I recently replaced my front fog lights with HID Xenon and CCFL ring for headlights. Looks good and bright. However my computer displayed "Check Front Fog Lights" everytime I switched off the engine. Any idea what could be wrong??

CCFL load is 35watt. Fog lamp is 55watt. The load is not enough. You have to cheat by creating an artificial load.

Some people use resistor and there are some people use capacitor.

pls dont ask me why can use capacitor. I am still wondering....

Alternative, you might consider to reprogram. This is similar when you upgrade from normal halogen lamp to xenon lamp for your low beam.

Just tested my CCFL & fog lights this evening by taking a 20 minutes drivie around and surprisingly no more "Check Front Fog Lights" display after engine switched off. Guys, thanks for your response.

looks like reprogramming is the quicker option to it right... rather than tweaking the wiring harness and such.
