Hello evryone, nice to meet all of you.Just sold a Camry 2.0G 2008 and got a 320i 2001 E46 Jap Spec model, have had her for 3 days now. Never owned a BMW before. No regrets so far, seriously. So you can imagine.I bought because i really like the E46. Some observations:1. Ride is stiffer but the handling is so much better, e.g. taking a bend at 90 to 120kmh, the BM is so much more sure footed. Incredible.2. When i took the car for a very late nite spin on the MEX where theres a straight, speed at 200kmh + is also very stable. Camry floats a bit more. The hway was empty at 230am.3. I noticed that the air cond isnt as cold as the Camry. Is this normal? At 16 deg, feels like 23 deg in the camry. Prior to this checked the aircond out in Kepong and there wasnt any leak. Just that before, the previous owned mixed, was it R12 and R134A which is a nono. Just wondering if you guys who have driven a Jap car before experience this difference. Ever so infrequently as well, the blower makes some noise tho' not very loud and goes away. How much does it cost to replace? Where do you guys have your a/c system looked at? I read abit that theres a good place near EPF Shell station in PJ?4. The airbag light come on for under a minute twice for no reason.5. Not very much creaks except where you put your arm on the armrest and if you put too elbow makes a plastic noise, creakkkk sound. :)6. Oh yeah, the key! The one i have where you press the open and close button (since rubberised) is severly worn down. Is there something i can do about it short of ordering another key which costs RM1,100?Thanks for your replies/ input!!5. The side view mirrors are slightly heated. Normal?

Welcome bro, e46 sifus will attend to u shortly..cheers

I have no idea re the key so had to ask, just stopped by at Segambut BMW parts shop and was quoted that price. Appreciate it if you can assist. Thanks

Hi Bro HLee, welcome to the forum. I am also an e46ers. BTW, my aircond is also like yours, hotter then my Jap MPV. Anyway, I can live with it. Yes, the ride is much more comfort then any Jap or Korean make, no doubt about that. For the airbag light coming on, try to observe for another few days, suspect the airbag sensor is faulty. For the key, you should look for Bro tweiboon ( i need to look for him too).

Since you are newbie here, i tell you my story in this forum.
My e39 came with only 1 remote key. I also looking for BMW service center for spare key. They quote me RM1100 in Jan 2011. But the problem is they will not guarantee the key will 100% works for you UDM. And They need you to give the police report and registration card and your key as well. 1 month later then only you can get back your key and spare key.

After that i am active in this forum to search for help for the spare key. Thanks to Jarance and BMW7833 gave me a very good start for the journey of cloning the key for BMW which using EWS. After that i became a person which able to clone BMW EWS key with very cheap price.

Recently i am doing the research for cloning BMW keyless key (e90,e60,e65). I will wait 1 more month to see the China able to copy the machine which no need to solder the wire to CAS for clone key. If not will buy the machine which need to solder the wire to CAS for clone key.
