hello all,i have e39 528i 1998manual,my problem is that,when i turn on the car heating system,when i turned on lights the car engine is turning off...the car electricity is fine,I have change the mass air flow sensor,the petrol filter,the Crankcase Ventilation Valve.when the mass air flow sensor is off the car warking fine but when i bought the new mass air flow sensor the problem is same...when car is hot-cald is turning on fine.the diagnostic can't see nothing...

Well, u have a rare manual secimen bro..... think you should check the electricals...could also be the alternator. ?.good luck n welcome to our forum..

I would recommend bringing your car to German Auto in Seksyen 12. The boss there quite knowledgeable and systematic in diagnosing problems, they may be able to best identify for you.
My friend brought his porsche there when he had a weird overheating problem and he was very happy with the work done.

don't think tovliskaci is a local guys.....he turned on the heater.....
