Help input is needed here bout air bag steering wheel

Hai all members Faces 2 problem just now (e36 318i 97)1st - sound too noisy when turn left and right the steering wheel..just like the dry parts is moving arround n suspected the steering wheel colum is dry n trying to applied with some oil2nd - after remove the air bag unit and applied some oil to the steering wheel nut the noisy sound reduce a bit but new problem is turning up - the airbag light won't turn off even after i remove the battery cableBit confusing here..maybe those light need to use computer handle to reset state or maybe others opinion may arise..Thanks in advance guys
