Hi guys, i need some info about my steering wheel, anyway i just noticed everytime i make a full u-turn or corner either right or left my steering wheel does not return to straight position after i release the steering,it still pointing around 30 to 45 degree.btw,im driving E90 325i m-sport. is this due to my wheel alignment?can it be fix it at any tyre shop? thanks.:top:

I think it's the rubber bushes holding the steering shaft gave way/ loosen.

Wait, does it do this:-
- Turn left, steering wheel veers to the left after turning,
- Turn right, steering wheel veers to the right after turning.

yes i have this problem too. i m on a CKD 320. Could it be our heavy steering?
Any sifus here to have this experience?

MSport no active steering, so dun blame that. Other than that, its just alignment or worn lower arm bush. Dunno your mileage, dunno your year, dunno your terrain condition, dunno how to help. Like mizhan said, do alignment first..

If the symptom matches what i described, its highly probable caused by the worn out bushes of your steering arm/shaft.
You can try to do alignment but it wont solve the problem.

hi to all the sifu,

btw, after i did the aligment for few times but still not in straight position after making a full turn.

spaceman:yes thats the problem i'm having. i still have to make a slight turn in straight position, around 40 degree.

astroboy:mine was e90 m-sport 2007,mileage around 54000km.just change to non RFT (michelin ps3) F:225/40/18 R:255/35/18.

i think should be the arm bush, anyway i need to double check. will update with you guys.

thanks:top:
