Help Chosing Colour

Hello GuysBeen a while on this thread. Finally e30 almost ready. Details on the restoration will be posted up separately... hehehe anyways can someone shed some light what is the colour code of this car?Im pretty sure its not Delpin Grey, looks like a tone darker

Hi bro, the chassis work was done at Mike SPS Auto Subang. Now swapping M50 engine and manual getrag gearbox, then respray again. The car is being restored by Jeembo Garage, Kajang.

Im looking at the pictures of the posted e30 earlier, the grey has some tone of blue in it. Still comparing colour, unfortunately most google pics shows Sterling Grey on e46 and the likes.

Mine is Sterling. Dolphin is the colour of my front-lip spoiler.

Yes ICEMAN thats right. Because I am doing wire tuck, battery transplant to the back, so i want the engine to standout, thus the Calypso Red in the engine bay. Were you in his garage recently?

Bodywork shall be one of the two greys. Mizhan, thanks, now i can see the colour comparison. Safe to say Dolphin is darker right?

Engine : 320i M20 (Stroked to 2.3L)
Transmission : Auto

Restorations

- Chassis & Firewall Restoration
- M50B25 Single Vanos swap from E34
- Getrag 260 manual Transmission (Was hunting for suitable Getrag 240, no luck)
- 3.73 LSD
- Single Mass flywheel
- E36 M3 Headers (thanks Liew!)
- BBS RS 15" Alloys

Upcoming

- Interior Restoration
- Exterior Restoration + Paint

It is darker than Delphine Gray and this color more closer to vulkangrau color which came on mainly e31s. Google it and see the color.

Yes on the colour, Dolphin is about 3 shades darker than Sterling.
