Heated Battery

Hi All,

While traveling from Melaka to Kl today, I experience kinda foul smell once a while from the air cond.
When reaching my destination and when doing unload from my rear bonnet, I notice n the same smell comes form the battery.

The battery was horribly hot......and upon calling my mechanic, he thinks that the alternator probably overchargd the battery. Is that so? Okay, I need some opinions here who had experience what I am facing.

It's NOT ok. Overcharging can cause your electronic components to fail. Please have your alternator and battery checked or replaced without further delay.
