head lamp polish

Hi,I just got my e60 530d...and i would like to get the headlamp to be polished..any idea where can i send it to? Need advise on this

I'm actually doing that as i respray my whole car & the tauke offer me headlamp polish with coating (FOC)...any side effect after that?

The coating or lacquer will not last that long...i don't use any coating but just sand it down and polish it.

For further protection u can use the paintshield product. they give u 4 years warranty...

You can get your headlamp restored at 5M Restoration in Kinrara Puchong. These guys are professional headlamp restorers. The cost varies depending on your model or if your lens have to be removed. For E60/E90 is ab RM300 per pair since you cannot open the lens. They actually come and collect the headlamp and deliver to you as well. You can call Mr Prem at 0172222245.

Actually I sent my brother in-laws E60 headlight for restoration.... Results is amazing and it comes with a year warranty...

Yazmeen even now I am also getting interested especially because of 4 years warranty, which is more tempting. However I would also like to know about the product which cleans or polishes the headlight with such an effect that 4 years warranty is provided to the customer.

I think the 4 years warranty is for the PPF (Paint Protection Film) that they use to cover the headlights after the restoration. Google 3M VentureShield.....great stuff.....

Btw....going through a lot of old threads eh? hehehe.....getting poisoned slowly but surely....hahaha....

Its only the thing that I really get a lot of information from this community and yes if its regarding poisoning then its a sort of sweet poison and I am happy to consume it. Well, jokes apart, do they not provide any warranty other than PPF ?
