my udm after grandpire was a total disaster!!very very disappointed!i did my smg kit and it came out like ..i dunno wat g....paint job was no better than a 5 yr old kid painting..boot spoiler was so off placing...rear bumper paint has water spots and the mounting was so obvious...so big GAP!front bumper has a passport thumbprint...scratches all over the car...it was a complete 100% disaster...i then took my car back there for a bit of touchin...n all i knew was my car was actually parked out there for 3 days without any care..was so pist off..i took my car home after that...such a Con job!every car shop i go to after ...ppl were like my god! wat car are u drivin??man if u were to haf a look at it...ull laugh ur lungs out...n i paid quite a lot...i don think it was worth even half the price for wat ive got..or maybe i was unlucky i dunno...just wanted to let u guys know the results of my car after Gpire.. :thumbdwn: thanx

just tell him that if that's the best they can provide for ur BMW, how to recommend other BMWClub members... (u have the sticker on your windscreen????)

If not happy, why did you pay them? I wouldn't have unless they rectified EVERYTHING!

Yeah, never ever hand over a cent until everything is done. Now its going to be really difficult to sort out, but not impossible. But its done, so move on.

I suggest that you go down and talk to them about rectifying it first. You should remind them that they have a good reputation, and this is not the way to do it. It may work for other cars, but this quality is just not acceptable for a conti ride...Have you considered putting pressure on them by posting on more popular Msian car websites, complete with detailed pics? Maybe you should only do it if they get stroppy...

If they drag their feet or refuse, lets go to the Consumer Tribunal together. I'm relatively free next month, and I've always been curious to see if they are any good. Good luck man. Sorry to hear about this. I always heard good things about them, but....

kevster/wkw... the day when i took my car home after it was all done...my black car was actually white in color...so i couldnt see any defects at all...after sending it for a wash then only i could see everything!yea fabian..ive got the bmwclub sticker on my windscreen...and walrus..yea i know shedden's ride was really a good job....tat really impressed me..tat is why i brought my car ther to Gpire...but i was the unlucky one coz i dont know them well i guess...yeah n i did talk to them n brought my car bk ther...all i know my car was parked out ther for 3 days under the hot sun n again from black turned white..got fed up n took my car home..called them again askin why is this happenin..n they said err the paint shop is stil on hols..not open yet...don even know how to tell lies at all..they jus couldnt be half bothered i guess coz they already got the money...isk isk

Grandpire? It made perfect sense to me that Grandpire makes bodykits......the same way Brother Peter is actually a car accessory shop

You may wanna post this up on a separate thread here. So many of us have had similar problems like deck - need not to be bodykits issue alone but at times unsure of where to channel our frustration/non-satisfaction as a consumer and seek readdress. No harm in putting this for those want to take the legal channel since it's already available to us as consumers.

Just my 2 cents of thoughts.

You shouldn't be so complacent and exercise your rights.............If they dare to produce this kind of work, they shouldn't 'cari makan' in the first place.

And...........if you weren't planning on doing anything about it but whine, maybe you shouldn't have put this post up.

Think of it as doing Grandpire a 'professional' favor.................
