Got this sound...?

Hello guys/shifus/gurus,Anyone can or experience a weird sound when you turn your steering wheels?It sounds like hmm... How do I describe it:stupid: ? Sound like... bird... Maybe like the hydraulic sound... Not sure... Anyone can explain to me or anyone experience it?

I experienced it b4 and have checked with Two-B, boss said leakage of steering oil..Refill of steering oil charged me RM5.00.

Check to see if any bird(s) resided there..., hey..no joke here, someone found a "biawak" (large lizard) under his car bonnet in KB recently.:burnout:

I have the steering wheel squeak on my E90 as well. Its a common thing for early batch E90's (05/early 06), and folks worldwide have this issue. From what I understand from KL2DC, the car needs a new revised steering column to rid the squeak. Should be covered under warranty for your E90.

erm... actually I dun hv this sound but most of my E90 fren is having this problem.... My fren with 07 E90 is having this problem too. But I hv funny sound from suspension "hmmnn" noise early morning or after rain which AB still can't fix it.

So far never had this sound.

But i do have another sound on my E90 (sorry ah hijack this thread a little ).
Whenever I unlock the car using the button at the centre, there's this small whining sound about 1 - 2 seconds after the doors are unlocked.

Locking is ok....

Sometimes this squeeking sound can be solved with some lubrication. That was what AB told me. My car used to have this squeeking sound especially during the start in the morning and AB told me that they remove the steering and did some lubrication and the sound just dissappeared.

does the sound develop right from day 1 or after some thousands of km ? mine hv not developed yet (hope not) BUT...
my aircond sounds like hissing everytime turning it on. any remedy there ?

So this problem can be solved huh... I must tell them during my next visit... Always tell me its like this its like that... Bloody lazy to work man!!! Must tekan like my workers... No tekan no jalan!

no kidding, my fren once found a 6' long anaconda when he open his bonnet :rock:

haha... ppl seems like tired with my complaint about the noise liao... To all member who had this problem, I know how to solve it. Just wait another 3 months and you'll get used to this noise aldy... :rock:

Like what Tomjb said la... "No tekan no jalan!"

ps: Actually AB did a few times aldy and still can't solve it. Arranging my car to Putrajaya BMW research dept for further "study"

I haven't go for service, so haven't try out to tell Johor AB about it... Hope Johor AB will be more helpful a little bit... But some how I really doubt so...

Actually I am already kind of get used to the sound already... It can already be heard when you off the radio, plus the noise pollution outside is at the lowest then the sound is heard...

Anyhow, a problem is a problem... I will definately tell it to the AB and insist them on getting it right!
