Guys, just wanna find out with such power & high tech M3, I think it's gonna cost more for maintenance,(say compare with an e46325) correct? Anyone owning it care to share your experience?

Is this car suitable for everyday use or goes into those weekend car category? I personally think not though...

Hope any of the owner can share, thanks!

Just a hint...front rotors = RM2200 per pair.

Then again, as Mr Prez put it...when the engine roars, all are forgotten liao!

theres a 2006 m3 CS advertised by Tenaga wan in motortrader if anyone wants to check it out. Asking 3XX

Checked out the car. It's a late 05 according to the VIN but registered in UK in 06 therefore it's considered an 06 car by our JPJ according to the salesman. On the plus side, the car is pretty complete spec. Everything seems to be there including sunroof, folding side mirrors, rear blind, even the toolkit seems pretty complete. It's also a real M3CS as far as I can tell with the mileage at 20000+ miles. The M Track button is on the steering wheel instead of the multi function number.

The car was sent for a total respray (the color being kept at carbon black) with the rims being re skimmed. The entire rim was then repainted. You can tell as the double M spokes are no longer black at the side but the entire rim is now painted silver.

I think Tenaga Wan's SOP is to do a complete respray of most M3's they receive. Didn't get a chance to start the engine so can't tell if the car is in good shape or not. However, it seems to be an accident free car (as far as I can tell).

One other thing - M3CS is supposed to come with CSL style wheels but this example comes with M double spoke wheels. I've been looking around and to get actual CSL style rims in KL isn't cheap (price quoted was more than RM12k).

I'm guessing the previous owner sold or exchanged the CSL style rims for M double spoke rims and pocketed the difference.

what was the final price offered bro ? if you look at the photos on mudah , you would realize that the drivers side front light is also fogged up , cant see the rest , the other issue is the rims

I think the photos were taken in the UK before the car was shipped back to MY. If you look carefully, it looks like the photo was taken at a typical mews house in London.

As for price, didn't really nego so not fair for me to say. The seller said the car was being touched up when I enquired. I haven't seen the "after touch-up" product neither did I get a chance to start the engine so not fair for me to comment.

i think he opened the price at rm365k. wiiling buyer, willing seller i gues...

Checked it out recently and like procomplex said it's the M3CS without the CSL style rims. They opened the price around 365k but when I saw the price on the car itself its 400k+. why the price is kind of high if they opened the price for 365k? I'm a bit confused :? help please

WOW that's really expensive, if that kinda prices better wait and save ur money for the E92 M3 should be roughly that price once it comes to malaysia...but i cant tell the difference between a normal M3 and a M3 CS...i know the CSL is a really serious stuff, watch on top gear, where Jeremy Clarkson really like even he hates BMW...

anyway, tenaga wan ripped off the price when i was there...the salesperson promise me 280k, then suddenly when the loan approve cause my loan was more than 280K, its was 290K loan approve...the salesperson hike the price 285k final offer...i was really pissed off...so better ask for black and white to deal with tenaga wan...also heard another friend of mine..the VIN and year they cheat it...dishonest dealership to my opinion....

i saw the car and it's gorgeous, really nice repaint everything, engine sounds perfect, interior nice....
however the price really high because its a CS...350k

i think the price still can be brought down , or you can opt for the 05 one at sri changgong , i think its 275 k nego with 18 rims

Sri Changgong unit is a basic spec model. For example no Harman Kardon or TV/Nav Screen (as far as I remember - I saw the unit a few months ago - last August if I remember correctly). If you want to add that later, it's gonna cost you.

Also, to upgrade from the 18" to 19" rims - also gonna cost a bomb if you get original M spoke rims. When you want to sell the car - you'll have to let go at a low price because of the low spec. My 2 sen.
