Saw a 04/09 e46 bmw m3 with 37000 km on the clock today. Car looks in quite good condition for its age. Color is silver with black interior. comes with dvd/tv/gps working. Asking RM239k. Bought from Tenaga Wan in April 09.

Can someone please let me know what is the fair market price for this car? Is it around RM210-220k (my budget)?

I think its a fair price , anyway last i checked it was sold . So its back to searching i guess

For a 04 car, I supposed 220k is a fair price more so if the mileage is accurate or true. Get it checked.

Is it full specs? 19inch rim?

Good luck.

yup it was with 19's , anymore for sale that you can point out ? any help would be good , there seems to be a good market for these cars

hhehe i prefer hardtops , what about other guys ? maybe some prefer soft tops with the optional hard top but personally i prefer the hard top

With our weather, hardtop for sure. I used to have a convertible - hardly used it with the top down and had to pay RM12k to refresh the mechanism when it got old - so no more verts for me.

Hey Guys,

i m also looking for a M3 hard top coupe only, got any suggestions? i found three M3 so far....

1. unreg 04 SMG2 dark blue 19" rim sat nav for 265k, somewhere near Old Klang Road, been there for months now, dont know if it sold, but referring from motortrader it still there. Unknown engine condition.
2. unreg 05 SMG2 dark blue 18" for 299K, somewhere in KL near US embassy. referring from mudah.my. Unknown engine condition
3. 02 manual 19" 235K from supafly, but i haven't seen it. Unknown if it registered or not....

thanks to the world economic recession, second hand car loan is now 4.5% and unregistered 3.75%...arrgggggg

Guys, just wanna find out with such power & high tech M3, I think it's gonna cost more for maintenance,(say compare with an e46325) correct? Anyone owning it care to share your experience?

Is this car suitable for everyday use or goes into those weekend car category? I personally think not though...

Hope any of the owner can share, thanks!

of course its cost you more, price & maintainance, btw its everyday car! you can see around UK most 02 M3 run 80k miles > & can run further. service at every 13k miles cost +- 1k oil change & 7-10k for inspection 1/2 :D

The ///M cars are one of the more versatile cars around, and that is the main selling point. Many have overlooked this fact and have compared how the ///M cars fared with the porsches, ferraris or even the Jap mean turbo machines. The beauty of it is, you can do fine dining with your love ones and valet park your ///M and yet the next day you could embarrass some of these cars in Sepang.

I am running my ///M as my daily car. Yes, the parts are not cheap but they do last a long time before they fail. Recently changed a water pump, RM2500 a piece without labour, and that is more expensive than the E90/E60 electric water pump! But when you floor the throttle, with the 6 individual throttles open up supplying massive influx of air into the gigantic intake plenum producing this menacing metallic engine noise at stratospheric rpms, which is all music to the ears then all the $$ spent, is forgotten for that moment...., replaced with a grin from ear to ear.

Cheers
