Get recond BMWs checked for trip meter (odometer) tweaking

Before buying any (ANY) recond BMWs or Mercs, get the trip meter (odometer) checked if the dealer(s) tweaked them so that they can hide the truth of the real mileage (and therefore the wear and tear conditions). Bring the car you want to purchase to a specialized BMW mechanic (like M Speed in USJ) and ask them to hook up to the computer to check on the car's systems records. It may not show the real mileage but they can see if it had been tweaked. Be wise and BMW is the best driving machine.
