Gearbox and Shiftronic Issue

Hello,Need some advise here from sifus.A month ago, my mechanic had replaced my 318i E46 1.9 2001 auto gearbox oil seal.After change, it had leak again and again for 3 times but still leaking. Everytime I sent my car he replace the black rubber seal near the autogearbox underneath. He change this for FOC but still leaking (not much but you can see the stain on the floor.The last repair was yesterday and now the leaking oil was gone after 1 whole day/night in the workshop. Unfortunately now, I found my autogear P is like N. It was supposed that P position will lock the car from moving. But now it behaves like N.Even worse, I have difficulty to shift back from my M shiftronic postion to full auto position.http://www.bmwclubmalaysia.com/forums/images/smilies/frown.gifBut the autogear is functional well except the above.Call my mechanic and he ask me to resent the car on Monday.Is it a small problem or a big one ? Very worried when come to autogearbox issue.

I think you may want to consider using the services of another mechanic.

Already become a regular to this mechanic.
Have been sending my car there for already 6 months. So far OK.
With this oil seal and gearbox issue, already thinking to change mechanic.
BUT, I will ask him to repair the damage he did first.

i think u need to look for a gearbox specialist like M-Scope or Hi-Tech, look out for motortrader coz they always advertise there, u can seek their avice before fixing since your mechanic cant solve your problem.

I agree with Mouse, go check out M-Scope in Batu caves, lots of positive reviews about the place so far. I did my transmission fluid change there and it's still working fine after 1 year.

Sent my car yesterday to the same mechanic for rectification job.
Just called and he said already rectified.
Will collect the car today afternoon.
I'm praying hard so that no more issue on gearbox.
Once OK, thought of sending to other BMW mechanic.
