guys,i believe you guys saw this car in motor trader recently also huh...claimed to be a fully converted m3 from 318 Ci... anyone in this forum owns the car? or what do you guys think about the conversion...reliable for daily use?... it looks exactly like one though..share your thoughts..

yes there is one in kajang , belongs to a prominent restoran owner ---

if am not mistaken it's carries a two digit by 28 ... ( silver colour )

I've seen one during transformation stage at Stuttgart about 2.5 years back. Full conversion...spend about RM100k to do the conversion. Could be that car....

DD, you got an E38 in Melb? Its desperately crying out for a set of M-Parallel 18s, bro.........

Oh gosh. My eyes are playing tricks on me. It's supposed to be an E65. Hahahah.....standard 21" factory rims. :nyehehe:

great exterior conversion - many original m3 parts by the look of it so long as you do not pop open the bonnet. it's still a 318 engine under the hood. conversion is purely cosmetics. i had a look at the car and was impressed with the work and the amount of money spent to get it to such detail but the engine part turned me off, especially at the price they are asking.
if u don't mind the inferior power why not. i'll trick anyone into thinking it's the real thing anytime. but i suggest u bring a mechanic to get the engine checked out as there appears to be some issues with it.
cheers.

Those quad pipes below the rear must be rather hard to find space to fit!. Would they have settled for twin pipe eminating from left side only ?. Just curious.

i believe u'd need to cut your spare tyre tray to fit the muffler that goes along the bumper n accross the tray, as opposed to non-m where the box lies next (parallel) to the tyre tray.. meaning, one wud need to find a space-saver spare tyre.. :D

The one I saw at Stuttgart underwent engine transplant as well. So it's a different one.
