First taste of 1982 6 series

Hi all, Just had a chance to test drive a 1982 '2.5' 6 series. 2.5 already so powerfull can only imagine how much better (faster) it could have been with the ori enjin....... :nyehehe: The torque and speed of a 635 must be ........highway heaven.........BTW how many of the forumers here own or had a 6 series before? Cheers

Sori..donor enjin from 3 series but dunno which one but think its a pre E36 6 pot enjin

the wiring system was not hooked on so the onboard computer system was not working as well. So sayang as the system really gave it a cool look.....
The indah clock was also changed to digital..the ori analog kena sapu already...
Longshaft got problem....
Left side mirror hilang....
sunroof works but very slow....
Leather seats still ok but needs polish....
Despite all this still very cool carlah...wish I could get one!

COOL Ride....the stripes makes it a one of a kind!
The only other sixer that stood out must be one with a yellow body kit. Prefer your dads mod........

Checked out the grey 6 series. Its cool, good condition with ori Akai speakers!

The asking price is high - started with 60K! Ended 2k lower.
Arranging for test drive on Sat.
Wat do you all think about d price - too exp?

I had a 635 Csi 1982....
Bought in 1997 for 40k.
Sold in 2000 for 50k

The power was great! Sold it to look for a post '82 E28 chassis version.
You should try and get that version. Will be easier to get parts.
