F10 Valve Cover Gasket Replacement

Hi guys,

I quite a newbie here. I noticed that there is some oil leaking at my porch where I parked my car. In the morning, there will be a like burning smell from the engine compartment and I suspect its a valve cover gasket issue. How much it will cost to replace it? Im driving a BMW F10 528i MSport and the warranty just ended. Appreciate the advise. Thanks.

Well, my 2015 F10 528i M sport have similar engine oil leak from top Gasket and drop onto the exhaust catalyst converter and burnt up a lot white smoke. After after buying the Gasket rubber kit and take 4 trip before I bought the original top Gasket from Suan Huat Puchong at 1.3k only managed to solved the problem. Total parts and labour 2.9k

Still the only solution is just buy the original top Gasket vavle cover that come with all the gasket rubber seal in. After 3 trips to fix the problems I realised the shape of the cover might have change as the engine heated up. So if it happen I just change the original cover to solve the continuous engine leak. Now is as good as new!
