Hi all,I have not found any thread regarding this topic. I find the f10 stock suspension set up sits too high. Has anyone lowered his ride with aftermarket spring? The F10 in msia comes standard with adaptive suspension and dynamic handling package, can we replace the spring without affecting these systems? Kindly share your experience, which sport spring and where is the best shop that can handle the F10.Thanks

glock ... try to search the net for Prior Design's F10, they done some lowering. Maybe you can use that as a guide. The F10 when lowered with a body kit looks so awesome, so long and menacing looking.

so far i only know hartge have specific spring that work with adaptive suspension/dampener

Replaced my stock rims and and got to know that our F10 spring can be changed to aftermarket one. The readily available are H&R or eibach. The damper that control the soft/hard while the spring is mechanically mounted just like any other car.

i would go with H&R over eibach, if do change please provide feedback , hand itchy to change spring.

pm me the price, also does it have effect on Dynamic damper control as hartge has a specific model of spring for it . is it the same with H&R

Hi,

Pls pm me the h&r spring + installation. btw i read somewhere in bimmerpost, for f10 it requires a removal of the back panel/speaker etc to remove/install the spring. Pls advise us if this is truly required and how many f10 have u managed to date. Cheers

Eibach Sports is softer than the standard M Sport spring. So if you want to enjoy our lousy roads, the Eibach is good. If you want handling ... the Eibach Sport will not cut it.

Next time v meet, try my vogtland springs, 2 finger drop frm m sport springs n firmer. A nicer drive imo.

Yes sir! I shall try it out ...

Hi tiANci,
I am assuming ur f10 is fitted with eibach, how does the ride feel compare with our stock set up... For eg On stock set up I can comfortably cruise at high speed on plus h/w especially on the northern part heading to Penang where the road is so bumpy...the same cant be said if I drive my e90 sport without breaking my back n causing nausea to my passengers...

Where does the eibach stands based on the above scenario?

glock, if you go to bimmerpost, the most preferred springs are the AC springs, followed by H&R =) H&R will drop you further than the ACS springs, but the ride is better with the AC. =)

Oh yeah, AC Springs price is almost double of H&R........ Else, there is always KW =)

Glock ... Mine is an e90 325 M Sport. Eibach in that scenario gives a much much better ride comfort without being as soft ad a stock 320i. Since its my weekend car, I guess I do not mind the harder M Sport springs. Will be taking my Eibach off and try H&R.

Decided to go with h&r since its readily available....get it installed today and have been driving for around 100km...with the hnr on, the comfort mode felt more connected without being too stiff. On comfort+ mode it felt softer but not as floaty as using stock spring....the suspension travel is shorter....on sport mode it felt how a msport shud be...compare with e90 325 sport, the f10 with hnr is more compliance and comfortable...
All in all, no regret :)
