folks, has anyone here done an install of the K-MAC kit? how was it in terms of tyre wear control (inner edge etc)?

I have installed KMac on my e36, so I can answer your question partially.

By allowing you to adjust the camber and caster, it reveals new handling abilities in front that was previously not available or achievable.

Corners can be taken faster and with more confidence, but then you already know that. The typical initial understeer is completely removed.

Inner tire wear depends on how aggressively you set the negative camber. That's why the Yokohama AD07 comes in handy - they are left-right swappable, so you can wear out both inner and outter side evenly.

lee36328, in your experience:

1. if you hit a big bump or pothole, will the camber plate loosen and the adjustment is affected? i was wondering which is better fixed camber plate or adjustable version?

2. if go for a larger caster, my straightline stability will be better right? will this put more stress on the strut since i'm even more inclined than usual?

1. No, the adjustment is not affected. A good camber plate set should withstand this type of typical hits.

2. Again, as long as the setting is within spec, it should be within tolerance of the struts. Additional, the camber plate does not give you unlimited range of camber or caster. There is still a limit.

Got it as part of a shipment with other parts, shipped from US, so can't remember the exact price, sorry.
