I have installed KMac on my e36, so I can answer your question partially.
By allowing you to adjust the camber and caster, it reveals new handling abilities in front that was previously not available or achievable.
Corners can be taken faster and with more confidence, but then you already know that. The typical initial understeer is completely removed.
Inner tire wear depends on how aggressively you set the negative camber. That's why the Yokohama AD07 comes in handy - they are left-right swappable, so you can wear out both inner and outter side evenly.
