did my 're-pack' @ JFA last friday,or maybe it's better termed as 're-build'.mines an m20 525 exhaust back box.the rumbling sound, off late, has gotten louder and the FC has also increased.so i wanted the basic, back to standard sound.rm400 and 5hrs later, all's done and the sound now is much subdued, tho not as quiet that i expected it to be.all the internal pipes (total 6) was replaced(as claimed by jaafar as i wasn't around all the time when this was done) and before close up,a layer of fibre was wrapped around the pipes.the whole housing was then re-welded.all in,i feel the cost is a bit on the high side for the work and material used.

Yup, that's the original configuration which I think its the best!

I did mine in Nov last year at Jafaar too but i did a bit more mod to the end muffler. Jafaar modify them into a perforated straight thru type.... It still gives the original BMW grunt ( sweet sound ), just a slightly louder. I did this to reduce the backpressure of my exhaust system after some mod to my engine....
