He would not like to reveal himself here.Big thanks to Vicky Lew. Without her, this photo would never exist in my portfolio. Big thanks to both for helping me wash the car!I had missed this car ever since we had left Madrid. This photo was chosen to be retouch and posted first for a favour in return. We arrived at Madrid after a freezing homeless night in Paris. Now I know how it feels to be homeless, it sucks! I felt blessed when we had reached here despite all the hindrance we had to go through, tube, buses, flights and etcetera. But now, I know we are in safe hands.Vicky introduced me to Antonio, a few weeks before we started off the Europe trip. At first I felt awkward meeting someone who I did not know and who I assume wasn’t as what I expected when we had a little conversation on the internet. But he was very nice and drove us around the city instead of going back first. He explained about the history and the architectural landmarks, and I don’t think I could explain that much if he was here in Kuala Lumpur. I am not good with local history; it’s quite a shame actually. Antonio has a very cool personality; I have to say I had never come across anyone who is so helpful and nice. I am going to miss him, and this car and Madrid. Hahaha…When we had reached his house, I did not notice there was a Cadillac until I got out of his car. It was a Peugeot 308cc. But damn, when I saw it, it big, bold, and very eye candy. We have Cadillac Escalades in Malaysia too, but it is extremely rare and I know it only belongs to the foreign minsters or some royal family. I mean, who would want to pay a 6.2L of road tax a year? You can buy a couple of Chanel bags instead. Actually, I never seen any on the roads, but only through a house near Jalan Ampang. And that was only once.So I’d like to thank Vicky very much because it was suppose to be a holiday for her and I felt a bit selfish for taking up the whole morning shooting and I felt the worst when she had to wash this huge car too. I’m glad and thankful I have this in my portfolio. I was also thinking about a moving shot but there wasn’t enough time and sadly we couldn’t find another driver. But I really appreciate this and everyone’s effort. And that is why I had put my 99% effort on this photo. You may not realize it, but a lot of detail has been brought out and conserve to its best. The workmanship took me two days to finish. This photo is categorized under ultra fine tuning photography section. I will upload a 100% cropped version of the car itself in the near future.1% has been deducted because of lunch break and dinner.Prints will be available upon personal request. Prices base on size, media, and country. Ships to all except Israel.Date Picture Taken: Aug 19, 2008, 11:57:43 AM
