Hi Ejat...I am also new to the E30 fraternity...I did what most did which is to restore the car mechanically and then work on the aesthetics...
If I can reverse time...I would do it otherwiese...of course provided you have all the body kits available...
A person will start to appreciate his E30 more when the looks of the car is sorted...There will be more enthusiasm to get the mechanical portion sorted out...
Like for me...most of the mechanical stuffs have been sorted out and now waiting for the right time to send the car in for painting...It would have been better should the body work was sorted and you progressively work on the mechanical bits...
Painting the car bare and then fitting all the new/refurbished mechanical bits will add lots of beauty to the car...but of course you and the mechanics have to be careful in not damaging any paint works...ask tips from bro Iceman on how he protected his car (*whisper* he even hired a gurkha to oversee his car the workshop! just kidding)
