Engine Number

Hello. I need to find the engine number on x3 2004 3.0 petrol for registration. The guy doing it for me said had to Remove engine mount and cut it !!!! Doesn't sound right

Welcome to the idiocity of jpj!

The number behind engine mounting. Insist puspakom to use the flexible lance fibre optic camera to reach that position. They have it. Most time not working... But that is not your fault. After cut the car structure, who can guarantee the structural strenghth not to be compromised?

I have came across this and i insisted. In the end the lazy fellow give up and signed buta
