engine error message

Last week I encountered a weird thing, when ignited the 320d, the message came out ' please drive to BMW service , you will not be able to restart your car if you off the engine ' . The message disappear after a while. I drove to the service center and was told this was the first reported incident according to SA. Left the car for them to check and was told no problems. They off and started the engine without any problem. Not satisfied, left the car overnight. Still no problem. The car run well till today. Has anyone experienced this weird thing before?

Havent encountered such problem. My guess, could be either of these - Faulty glow plug, injectors or fuel pump
