engine dies

hello all sifu,minta tolong lah, my e46 engine dies more frequently this week. haven't send to workshop yet . just want your comments on what I should look for.Engine dies off while driving slowly and then restart no problem but it give me headache at the traffic lights.Thanks

Most probably your ECU "bocor" already. Try to connect to AB PLC computer unit and they will detect the error while your car in running mode. Or else some of your host might be blocked. ( Always happen for E46 ). These are just possibilities, it might be vary due to only make assumption base on the thread.

Happen to my as well 2 weeks back....

I change the Cam sensor... And it was resolve

diagonosed and found that camshaft sensor faulty. Damaged RM1000 to my wallet. Cross fingers ,hopefully that resolved it.

Hope it okay.. normally the culprit is the cam sensor..

got 2 sensors, one for in and another out, about RM400 ++ each plus labor
