Engine Check Light Intermittent

Engine Check Light IntermittentGuys,I've been having the above indicator on/off over the past 1 month.At times when i accelerate feel No power - tekan minyak also car cannot goAlso erratic idling speed...Anyone experience this?What did you do to correct it?Thanks.

Raj, what model/year is your ride?

Maybe your MAF is dirty. Try cleaning it first.

If that does not work, do a diagnostic check. It could be the lambda sensor (oxygen).

btw, have you change the fuel filter before?

It is MAF failure or Fuel pump failure.

i think if fuel pump failure car sure cannot start

My ride is 01/05 318i 1.9 M43 Japan CBU, haven't change fuel filter yet

The below was done but problem still persist:-
*Did diagnostic check shows 2 error codes, 1) check fuel system mixture 2) check oxygen sensor before catalytic converter
*swapped MAF from another car engine check light still there but idling & power improve
*Cleaned oxygen sensor before catalytic converter with cloth only
*change petrol usage to Ron 97

Now problem still there... Pls help...
