comparing the current price of a 1997 528i or 523i to last year price of 2004 r not too much lower, may be only about 5k. e.g. 528i RM 130k Vs RM 135k in March 2004. Would this be due to the appreciation of euro$ or the new BMW models are getting more expensive and now less affordable? e.g. CBU e90 320i at RM 300k on this April.For your information, the new e90 320i is only 100 pound more expensive than a new E46 318i in UK. However, in malaysia, it is RM 300k Vs RM 220K.Another great example of greed from the local car distributor/dealer. Too good for the dealers, there r really too many water fishes in the market would not hesitate to pay the high price.
