You bring your ride for a spin...?
Mun;463112 said:Bro,
how about cleaning out the throttle body? some dirt built up can upset the sensor, causing the throttle not to close properly during idle.... just a thought!
Don't ask me how to do that. Old school way just spray throttle cleaner...
bmFIVE;463394 said:That's what my independent BMW Specialist suggested & has been conveyed to SA of IA. But he suggested that let car consumed 2 more tankful of V-Power then see the problem persists!
Juan Powerblow;463405 said:It might work actually. Don't underestimate the additives in V Power. Well, let us know how it goes. You joining the Breast Awareness event on Nov. 7? ... Ooopps.. sorry, Breast Cancer Awareness...

The second one said there is nothing they can do except pumping up RPM. I said no if no real reason found. The third one, today showed me another 2 2006 325i behaving the same way. It got me believe that it is the nature of 2006 325i. That is all I can say now because that is all I have seen so far. The foreman told me also that many 5 series having the same problem. The way they to fix it is to increase the RPM a little. He also said that is the solution based on what they got from working with factory engineers.
Juan Powerblow;466866 said:That's pretty strange. How is it that some cars don't experience this?
zeedo;466885 said:A leak in vacuum system could also contribute the vibration during idling, that's what I've experienced with E46 N42. After changing all three vacuum hoses, finally found the brake servo leaked. Not sure how it works with N52 engine but worth the check I suppose. Idling vibration problem solved (after changing vacuum hoses, oil separator & brake servo)

I thought it was normal when my Mechanic tested the car after changing my absorbers. He said might have to change the spark plugs. So since plugs have something to do with engine, better send to Ingress.
At Ingress they said plugs not due yet and its cost 1k to change all 6. Why waste money when they are not due. Confuse.... i had to take action in my own hands and went to Bavarian Auto to ask about the plugs. Cost RM28 each for Bosch Platinum, so bought all of them and went to Mechanic to change the plugs, Cost RM35 for labour. He even resetted the OBC reading for plugs.
When he removed the plugs, i got a shock as they were all burn at the head and also around the white area. Now my ride doesn't vibrate anymore and it is lighter on the pedal.
Maybe you can try this as its only a small investment for R&D. The KM reading on my OBC is 72k.
