thanks, i'm now one step closer to the 09/09 model. i need some vote from you guys:

Platinum bronze or Platinum Silver exterior with saddle brown interior?

Head for Bronze and tail for Silver, now toss the coin! :p :D

I'll take Silver but brown leather doesn't go well with Silver.. no Black interior meh? or Red?

Brown leather is very cowboy-ish while Silver is futuristic.. together, u get s Space Cowboy!!

I took saddle brown in space grey. The saddle brown has been my choice for many years since I rode in a black jag with tan leather 30years ago.

I saw a 320 with saddle brown in black. I think it is the best combination.

We initially chose the saddle brown in platinum bronze but changed our minds after we saw it. It is a "mature" (Old man's) color which is too close to my Honda Accord Desert Mist.

If it is between the bronze and silver, I'll take the sikver anyday. But the saddle brown might not go down well with the silver. The saddle brown goes better in dark exterior colors.

See the car first.

I think according to the BMW people, they initially started the saddle brown with the silver only and later extended it to their other colours too...but I agree with Saat, I think the saddle brown may go better with the space grey
Not the bronze

I was facing the same dilemma in choosing the color just like you guys, at the end we both settle with the 07/08 model with the Monaco Blue/Beige, which now appears not bad after seeing the Platinum Bronze/Saddle brown in the showroom. However, the best color seen so far is still the sparkling graphite/black.

And i thought the day would never come...Congrats bro & enjoy the car.

if i look back the whole hunting process, at one point after i saw the sparkling graphite/black model, i went to view the monaco blue and made comparison, i prefer the graphite model. later on after viewing the platinum bronze/Saddle Brown and then back to view the monaco blue model and it was ok this time. Got to seek more advices from you seniors along the way, thanks.

Well, today I wear black, yesterday I wore grey and tomorrow I decided to wear blue. Yah! the brown one is ready for Friday.

All this coloring choice is individual preference. My color choice is white with red interior but I'm driving black/black. No point buying something everybody else wanted but deep inside u want another color. Your money your choice. Same with rim design. Close your eye and listen to your heart.. :D

darnnnnnnm feel cheated :(

Not too late, dear! U can take mine I take yours la.. :p 18" look nice but not comfortable and expensive tyres la.. :D I'm happy with my Type 158 17" 225/45.. all round.. can still rotate tyre a bit.. :p

What I meant was not what u think la. Rim comes with new BMW in Malaysia cannot pick la. Unless u trade in and top up differences or something but it still cost a bomb. Your Type 163 M-Sport rim very light and nice ma. What other rim u want?

I was making that comment because been noticing people asking what color cloth to wear and also what shoe (rim) to wear ma (another thread).. so just a typical astroboy way of remark.. :p

Wah, you terrer, trust salesman to buy yourself a boyfren, german sumore. Just kidding.

The package here in Malaysia is quite limited. There are only a few optional extra. These are limited to items that the distributor can fit themselves. These extras are cost items. Yes you can change the rims but it will cost you extra (big extra). I fitted an iPod interface. BMW Malaysia instead chooses the path of fitting these extras and then redesignating them as a new variant e.g. 320i Sports which is a 320i with body kit, different rims and sports suspension and you pay 12K more.

It is different overseas where the options list is huge and you can tick off to your heart's content and your wallet's willingness. The car with the most amount of customization that is offered by the maker is the Mini. The options list come as its own catalogue.

may i change topic a little bit.

As a beginner starting the journey in this German Environment, i would like to seek opinion on how should we maintain the "boss" in order to avoid breakdown/deterioration. I've met a friend today and he commented that he's seen so many cars pull over the road side and most of them starts with B or M (German Breed). Is the standard maintenance scheme by AB is sufficient or should be do up some additional in between the AB plan services?

Your friend must be recounting a dream or just sour-graping. I've never seen many Bs or Ms pulled over at the road side, have you? Together with the Ts and Hs, they're the most reliable and well-engineered cars on the road. IMO, the only thing that you should do more than the schedule is to change the oil and filter every 12k or so.
