E65 Japan spec radio

Hi guys. Just bought used e65 735i Japan spec. I am having a problem with my radio. Tried to re-programe my I-drive unit to get local channel but the shop told me there's sumthing wrong with my 'control unit' which located in my boot.Can anyone advice my where to get second opinion about this issue? Can I get a used 'control unit' frm anywhere? Kindly advice me guys. Appreciate it.Thanks.Huzkai
