hi guys,Seriously need some advice. The control unit for my e65 735i (japans spec) recently kaput. The control unit controls the idrive so i have lost lots of idrive functions. My foreman told me the only way to solve this problem is to replace the control unit. I know that will cost me a bomb but i still have to find a solution. Please please anybody that can advice on what to do or where to get the parts (used preferably). you guys can even eemail to me personally at huzkai@gmail.com if u guys wanna share some advice ya. U can try Hakitrade in Kg. Subang or MK Autoparts in Kepong. Probably u can get a 2nd opinion to really confirm the real issue/fault before u proceed to fix the fault, so that u fix the problem at the 1st attempt. Wrong diagnostic of problem/issue can really make ur wallet lighter as it will lead to trial & error....my 2cents....

haki trade got one e65 last week but hesitate to open the parts for the next one month. seen the car and has most of stuff intact. if u can't wait, refer to MK auto

i have the same car as yours, which control unit ? CAS ? or just the i Drive button ?
I changed the CAS costing about 4k... Idrive button used unit less than 1 k...
