E60 starting noise at alternator!

Dear sifu, any solution for this. Yesterday night suddenly hear noisy sound from alternator side. Not sure its pulley or bearing. Any reasonable price shop nearby pj area. Need to solve this problem asap. Kindly need assistance. Tq.

Can you still start the car ? I had same issue and found to be the starter is ripped off

Yes i can start engine.no issue on that at all!

Just check with foreman. He said alternator bearing rosak but alternator in good condition but anyhow have to change the whole alternator. There is any shop which can repair this solution? They cut throat until rm2k.

bro...i suggest you find an electrical engineering shop that deals with alternators and starters and blower motors...for sure they can refurb your alternator and get the bearings changed for a fraction of the cost quoted to you....

there is a shop in sunway near the sunway medical center...same row as jaffa exhaust shop...sorry don have ctc number

Thanks bro. Will find out the shop. Lets see what the outcome!if couldnt fix it and i have no choice to change the whole alternator as my foreman suggested!

There are two mechanics i know of which are quite ok Autobahn sunway and continental car care USJ also Blue Green Motorworks PJ ,Autobahn is a seasoned M mechanic reasonable price and so as continental car care the guy will try to repair your part for you before changing it like most mechanics would do, Blue Green Motorworks havent used them but passed by and read reviews bout them, most of the time they seem to be specialist more on e38,e39,e36 and e30 but they do repair e60's as well good luck.
